Healthy Waterways survey - thanks to everyone who took part!

More than 250 people took the time to respond to the Healthy Waterways boater survey, which was led by our project partners RRR Consultancy Ltd. Every single person who responded to the survey has helped to steer the Healthy Waterways project in a positive direction, and we are very grateful to everyone who took part.

Later this autumn we will publish RRR’s report summarising the findings of the survey, which overwhelmingly revealed a commitment to sustainability among London’s boating community and highlighted the systemic barriers to funding, accessible infrastructure, and practical guidance experienced by boaters.

The learnings from the survey will feed into the second and third phases of the Healthy Waterways project: designing a clean air awareness campaign featuring case studies and helpful information; and creating a strategy for supporting air quality and sustainability action among London’s boating community - one that is co-designed by and working for the community.
